High school reunion, red carpet appearance, wedding day, big date night, or just because it’s Wednesday? Whatever your reason to look your best, our Gold Infusion treatment helps you put your best face forward.

What is the Gold Infusion?

Our signature Gold Infusion delivers a proprietary cocktail of vitamins and super hydrating antioxidants — including niacinamide, glutathione and peptides — to your skin. We gently stamp these ingredients under your skin with our microinfusion device made of 24-karat mini needles. These tiny needles stimulate collagen production, refine skin texture, tighten pores and hydrate skin by infusing microdroplets of our skin-enhancing proprietary cocktail into the surface of the skin, energizing and plumping your complexion.

In addition to being suitable for all skin types, this buzzy treatment packs some serious skin perks, targeting scars, dark spots, pores, and fine lines. A gentler option than microneedling, Gold Infusion also has a quick recovery time, making it the perfect treatment for a quick pick-me-up. Patients notice brighter, plumper and glowing skin within minutes of just one treatment, which is why the Gold Infusion is often used as a date night treatment or for big events like weddings and walks on the red carpet!

Preparing for the Gold Infusion

Three days prior to your treatment, avoid topical creams that increase the sensitivity of your skin (retinoids, topical antibiotics and acids) and anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen. At your appointment, your Skin Pharm provider will cleanse your face and prep your skin with alcohol. Next, we gently press with a “stamping” technique on your face, evenly distributing the vitamins and antioxidants. After, we apply a light moisturizer and mask, and you’re good to glow!

Adding Botox/Filler to Your Treatment

For those who seek further pore improvement, ask us to add Botox to the cocktail. If you want even more hydration and plumping, we can also add filler as an additional source of hyaluronic acid. Talk to your Skin Pharm provider about which option is best for you.

Gold Infusion Recovery and Results

Your skin may be pink immediately after the treatment, but should return to normal within 30-60 minutes. If your skin feels a little drier than normal, be sure to use moisturizer. Avoid applying makeup or using exfoliants for 24 hours. You may resume normal activity following your Gold Infusion treatment, but avoid sun, hot tubes, saunas and — as always — wear that SPF!

One reason patients like Gold Infusion for big events like weddings or red carpets is because of the immediate results. Once the redness subsides, say hello to the glowy, refreshed skin of your dreams! Results last 1-3 months, and regular treatments keep your skin hydrated, smooth and dewy.

Common Gold Infusion Questions

How is Gold Infusion different than microneedling?

With microneedling, we go deeper into the skin than we do with Gold Infusion. Microneedling tends to have a slightly longer recovery time and is a treatment for more severe sun damage, pigmentation and deeper lines and wrinkles.

Does Gold Infusion hurt?

Our patients report very little discomfort during Gold Infusion — numbing cream isn’t even necessary, that’s how gentle the treatment is!

I have oily skin. Will Gold Infusion make my skin oilier?

Nope, Gold Infusion gently hydrates all skin types — including oily skin — by providing nourishing vitamins and antioxidants that your skin needs. Ask your Skin Pharm provider about adding Botox to the treatment, which helps balance oily skin types!

Are there side effects?

There are no side effects to Gold Infusion, other than your skin may turn pink for 30-60 minutes after the treatment. For patients who experience dryness following a Gold Infusion treatment, be sure to moisturize with Skin Pharm Youth Serum or, for dry or sensitive types, Biotherapy Cream.

How often should I get the Gold Infusion Treatment?

You can get a Gold Infusion treatment once a month, but most patients get one every 2-3 months or before a big event.

I’m pregnant. Can I get Gold Infusion?

Congratulations! Check with your physician first, of course, but once he or she clears you, we will do Gold Infusion when you’re pregnant. However, we cannot add Botox or fillers to the procedure — just our proprietary cocktail of vitamins and antioxidants.
